Our Basic Obedience group class emphasizes understanding, establishing, and maintaining pack leadership. It also teaches basic commands, strengthening the bond between dog and handler, and most importantly socialization. Dogs learn how to perform commands with distraction, not just sterile or comfortable environments (like inside your home).
Classes are held once a week for 6 consecutive weeks in our training center and at least one class is held in public (weather permitting). Basic Obedience group class size is limited so that everyone gets adequate one-on-one attention from the trainer.
The first class is a one hour "human-only" session which includes lecture on Leadership and Q & A. The remaining 5 one-hour sessions are spent learning/practicing basic commands.
